Beginner Shed Guide earns commissions from qualifying purchases made through affiliate links on this website. These commissions come at no additional cost to you.
This page explains our affiliate relationships and how they relate to the information we publish.
What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a link that allows a seller or affiliate network to identify a referral from our website.
If you follow one of these links and make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission. You do not pay a separate fee to Beginner Shed Guide for using the link.
The price and purchase terms displayed by the seller at checkout apply to your order. An affiliate link does not necessarily provide a discount or the lowest available price.
Our Relationship with My Shed Plans
Beginner Shed Guide promotes My Shed Plans, also known as Ryan Shed Plans, through an affiliate relationship.
Links using the following address are affiliate links:
Although this address begins with our domain name, it redirects visitors toward a third-party offer. It is not a product checkout operated by Beginner Shed Guide.
We are an independent website. We do not own My Shed Plans, create its product collection or act as its customer support team.
How Affiliate Relationships Affect Our Content
We have a financial interest when readers purchase through our affiliate links. That relationship is relevant when you assess our product coverage and recommendations.
Our editorial aim is to provide useful explanations, discuss relevant limitations and help readers decide whether an option suits their needs.
An affiliate relationship is not evidence that a product is suitable for every reader. Featuring a product does not mean we have personally purchased, tested or used every part of it.
Where product coverage is based on a seller’s published information or an available sample, it should not be understood as a hands-on assessment of the complete product.
You can read more about our approach in our Editorial Policy.
Product Information and Purchase Decisions
Product descriptions, advertised features, prices, availability and purchase terms can change.
Before buying, check the seller’s current information, including:
- What the purchase includes and excludes.
- How you will receive or access the product.
- Whether the plans cover the type of project you intend to build.
- The total price and any optional additional purchases.
- Available customer support.
- Any applicable refund conditions and deadlines.
Claims made by a seller remain the seller’s claims unless we clearly identify independent supporting evidence.
Purchasing a shed-plan collection does not establish that a particular design meets your local building requirements or is suitable for your site. Verify those details before construction.
Orders, Payments and Refunds
Purchases made after following our affiliate links are handled through the third-party seller and its checkout or payment provider.
Beginner Shed Guide does not process your payment, deliver the purchased product, manage your account or issue refunds.
For assistance with an order, use the contact information provided by the seller or on your purchase receipt.
Nothing in this disclosure changes any rights you may have in relation to your purchase.
Affiliate Tracking
Affiliate referrals may be identified using tracking links, cookies or similar technologies operated by the seller or affiliate network.
The third-party websites you visit have their own privacy practices. Review their privacy and cookie information to understand how they handle your information.
Disclosure Within Articles
Pages containing affiliate promotions should also include a clear explanation of the commission relationship near the relevant recommendation or links.
This full disclosure provides additional detail; it is not intended to replace disclosures within individual articles.
